When people think of the supercar concept, they immediately think of different brands. These are companies that have proven to the world that they are truly benchmarks of speed and performance. Companies like Koenigsegg and Bugatti make cars that make not only speed, but also some of the most limited and attractive cars in the world.

For this reading we have selected the most expensive cars on the planet, starting at a minimum of a million dollars. However, every car on this list includes the price at which the new part was sold. In other words, there has never been an auction or a car for auction.

1. Rolls-Royce Boat Tail – $28 Million

The new boat tail is the latest Rolls Royce. The stern of a beautiful medium cruiser inspired by the most exciting water sports. There is no doubt that it looks like a luxury yacht on top of the cake. The vehicle’s beautiful curves combined with the veneer finish create a unique look.

The chassis and engine are identical to those of the Rolls-Royce Phantom. The car has a beautiful set of cutlery, a glass of champagne and two refrigerators. This limited production car is the most expensive car ever built, with only three to be made.

2. Bugatti La Voiture Noire – $18.7 Million

The Bugatti La Voiture Noire is currently the most expensive car of the current generation. This is a modern interpretation of Jean Bugatti’s personal Type 57 SC Atlantic. The Black Car is the only supercar in the world where only one is produced.

The Black Car is powered by the same 8.0-liter W16 engine as the Chiron, producing 1,500 horsepower and 16,000 Nm of torque.

3. Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta – $17 Million

The Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta is known as the second most expensive car in the world. The legend of Zonda is awe-inspiring, but especially it is actually the fastest Zonda ever made.

This car also has a different shape, including a partially covered rear wheel, a smaller windshield, and the fact that there is no roof, which makes it a very special car.

4. Rolls-Royce Sweptail – $12.8 Million

The Rolls Royce Sweptail is really cool. Inspired by the driver’s construction site, this car truly resembles the look and feel of a 1920’s passenger car. Debuting in May 2017, this car is truly unique.

The process of creating the car is supported by experts in luxury yachts and aircraft. The front grille is the largest aluminum grill ever applied to a Rolls-Royce, polished and mirrored.

5. Bugatti Centodieci – $9 Million

The Bugatti Centodiesi was announced in 2020. This car is considered a modern throwback to the legendary Bugatti EB110. It was also released to commemorate the 110th anniversary of Bugatti.

In that sense, automobiles must be exhibits. Not everyone likes this style, but in practice it is very rare as only 10 copies are made.

6. Mercedes-Maybach Exelero – $8.0 Million

This Mercedes Benz is truly a unique car. In fact, this car was commissioned by Goodyear’s German subsidiary called Fulda to test new tires. The Mercedes Maybach Exelero debuted in 2004 and is built on the Maybach chassis.

The car is equipped with a V12 biturbo engine with 690 horsepower and 1020 Nm of torque. The vehicle’s top speed is 350 km/h. The post-inflation-adjusted Mercedes Maybach Exelero will hit $10 million today.

7. Bugatti Divo – $5.8 Million

The Bugatti Divo actually uses the same engine as the cheaper Chiron, so it’s worth the higher price. The Divo now has all-carbon coolers, much lighter wheels and the noise reduction has been eliminated, making the car 35kg lighter than its counterparts.

Power figures remain the same at 1,500bhp, but the Divo’s aero setup, coupled with the reduced weight, makes it eight seconds faster than the Chiron on the Nardo test track.

8. Lamborghini Veneno – $4.5 Million

This beautiful movement was produced between 2014 and 2015 and there are a total of 14 examples of this type. Pricing starts at $4.5 million, but depends on the capabilities of each device. The Veneno is available in a coupe variant and a convertible configuration.

This car has the same engine as the Aventador, but has been tuned for more power. The 6.5-liter V12 Veneno engine develops 740 hp. and a torque of 609 Nm. This allows it to accelerate to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds. The Lamborghini Veneno is by far the most expensive Lamborghini.

9. Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ – $3.9 Million

It was the poster that all happened when Bugatti announced it was going over 300 miles per hour. The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ is a modified version of the regular Chiron, a road version of the record-breaking original. The car is equipped with the same 8.0 liter W16 engine.

However, despite the name with “300” in it, due to safety concerns, this car is legal on the road, so its speed is electronically limited to 277 mph.

10. Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 – $3.6 Million

Lamborghini Sian FKP 37: $3.6 million ## Sian is based on the Aventador SVJ, but it’s actually a nod to what the future holds for Lamborghini in the sports car industry. Lamborghini is the first car to use electricity to generate potential torque. The Sian has the same engine as the SVJ, which is a 6.5-liter V12, but comes with a new 611 kW mild-hybrid system.
